Kösen
For
more than 90 years this German
company has been making toys.
Their realistic cats, dogs and other
animals are made of high quality plush and they pay a lot of
attention to the eyes to give their animals a lifelike expression.
In order to achieve the right shape
they use very many pattern pieces, sometimes even more than 70, to
give them their special look. All Kösen animals have the European
safety sign CE and are washable at 30' C and also suitable as toys for
children.
Kösen designer Anne Katrin Mehlan has done a terrific job.

Kösen Black Cat on Four
A real beauty is this walking black and white Kösen cat. He is very well stuffed what will make him stand on all fours for a life time. With his white snout and chest, his long whiskers and beautiful yellow-green coloured eyes he has a great expression. This black cat on fours is 30 cm, 12” high, 43 cm, 17” with tail and 39 cm, 15.5” long. He
has a brown pluche nose and a pink cat paw print on his paws. This
Kösen cat is made of an excellent quality plush with different
lenghts of fur that make him very life like.

Birmese Cat This perfect look a like is very softly stuffed and weighted to give him the exact feel and weight of a real cat. This way you may give him all kind of life like poses. I once held him in my arms with a real Birmese cat next to me. In the picture you could hardly tell the difference! The different lenghts of fur he is made
of provide him with a realistic
look. He has grey blue eyes and a black nose, beautiful whiskers and
brown ultrasuede inner ears. The paws of this Birmese cat have pink
cat paw prints. When he lies stretched out he is 54 cm, 21.5”
without tail.

Sigikid This German firm dates from 1856.
Since 1968 they developed a lovely soft plush line which gives
extraordinary attention to the quality as well as the cuddliness of
their designs. The company has won many awards like 'Toy of the year'. |

Floppy Character Cat She
will make you smile this cat made of greyish coloured artificial silk
plush and off-white velvet. She is poly filled with some granulate to
give her a little bit of weight. Her huge eyes give her an
extraordinary funny expression. Her nails are made of leather. This
cat made by the German manufacturer Sigikid is 40 cm, 15” long,
apart from her tail.
