Jutta Kissling

German artist Jutta Kissling was born in 1942 in Olching near München.
In 1983 she started to make dolls from different materials. She exhibited her first porcelain dolls at the
Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1985. From 1988 she established herself as a professional doll artist.

Jutta Kissling makes dolls with a dream in her mind.
Her dolls represent little girls and boys still in the age of innocence but already an emerging personality.
The expression on their faces leave room for the interpretation of the observer.
She prefers to make dolls with a styled body in stead of real children in porcelain.

The dolls made by Jutta Kissling are all-porcelain dolls with 5 joints, painted eyes, real hair wigs and clothing made of natural materials.
Jutta Kissling not only designs the dolls but also produces each one individually to achieve the result she wants in limited editions of up to 25 pieces.

Please note these dolls have been especially created for collectors and are not suitable as a toy for children.

Nadine

Brown eyed Nadine made by Jutta Kissling looks like a young teenager observing the world with her own thoughts.

She has a five way jointed all-porcelain body which is excellently sculpted made of very fine quality porcelain.
Nadine's long real red hair wig matches nicely with her eyes and soft coloured lips and cheeks.

She is dressed in a very well made real silk black dress with a big cotton collar with a 'millefleur' print. On her head a beige felt
hat and on her feet white tricot socks in reddish brown leather shoes made by the father of the artist.
Her lovely designed underwear is of white cotton and edged with fine lace.

Nadine is marked with brown ink in her neck with 'Nadine 11/25/95' in handwriting. She comes with a certificate and swing tag with Jutta Kissling's initials and her name.
Nadine is in mint condition.
She has never been on display.

Juliette

Juliette by Jutta Kissling is dressed on her Sunday's best in her silk outfit.

Her beautifully sculpted head, body, hands and feet are made of the finest porcelain.
She is an all-porcelain doll with a 5 way jointed body.
This red-haired girl (real hair wig) has hazlenut-brown eyes, beautifully shaped eyebrows and soft painted cheeks.

Juliette wears an off-white dress with a large collar made of raw silk with 3 buttons in the back and a black silk belt. She wears a black felt cap and white tricot socks. Jutta Kissling's father made the black leather shoes she wears.
The beautifully made underwear is of a very nice design.

Juliette is marked 'Juliette 11/25/95' in brown handwriting at the back of her head. She is # 11 of a limited edition of 25 dolls from 1995 and is 50 cm, 20" tall. Juliette comes with a certificate and swing tag.

This Jutta Kissling doll is in mint condition. Juliette has never been on display.

		Paul A very attractive boy who brings back the feelings of summer-holidays of years gone by. Paul by Jutta Kissling is an all-porcelain doll with 5 joints. He has a beautifully sculpted head, body, hands and feet. This red-haired boy has beautiful handpainted green eyes and his nose, chin and cheeks have handpainted freckels. He is dressed in a black bourette silk sailor shirt with 2 buttons on the back and with a black and white striped cotton insert. Paul wears a white tricot cap. He has a real hair wig. Paul is marked 'Paul 16/25/95' in brown handwriting at the back of his head. That means he is number 16 from a limited edition of 25 from 1995. Paul is 50 cm, 20" tall. He comes with a certificate. Christine

Christine is a dreamy girl dressed in bourette silk with a fine silk bow in her soft long red hair.

This Jutta Kissling doll has sideways looking blue eyes and a five way jointed all porcelain body of very fine quality porcelain. She is extremely well sculpted as are all dolls by this artist.
Her eyebrows lips, cheeks and eyes have been beautifully painted by
Jutta Kissling.

She is dressed in a beige silk dress with 3 buttons at the back and a big white collar made of fine cotton with a woven pattern.
In her real hair wig she wears a dusty pink silk bow. She wears fine tricot cotton socks in her black leather shoes with a tiny bow. She has beautiful underwear. In her neck Christine is marked in brown handwriting with 'Christine 14/25/95'. She is 52 cm, 20.5" tall and comes with a certificate and swing tag with her name and Jutta Kissling's initials.
Christine is in mint condition .
She has never been on display.
